I'm Anna Colquhoun, a BACP registered integrative Therapeutic Counsellor. I offer private, confidential, one-to-one counselling online and face to face with adults on a variety of issues and have experience and an interest in:

As you are here, I expect that something in your life is feeling difficult and its impacting what it's feeling like to be you right now. Maybe you are feeling anxious, stressed, confused, down or out of control and might feel like it's difficult to be in relationships with other people. You may be noticing that you want to change some of the ways you have dealt with these feelings and experiences in the past. I can help you to make sense of what’s happening and find ways to feel better about yourself.
I have seen, both as a client and as a therapist, that by talking with a therapist who feels like the right fit, the way we think and feel about ourselves can change and life and relationships can improve. Choosing a therapist you can talk to is essential to understanding the challenges you may be facing. My aim is to support you in the process of therapy and personal change.
As well as my private practice, I have worked in low cost counselling and as a student counsellor in Higher Education. I continue to work as a university counsellor, as well as in private practice. These experiences have meant that I have worked with people from all walks of life who have experienced a range of life experiences that bought them to therapy. I work with people using brief therapy (where we work together on a specific issue for an agreed number of sessions), as well as in an open-ended way where we begin the work and have regular review points. When you are ready to end therapy, we will work towards this together.
